Founded in 2002 by Smt. Susmita Chatterjee. Stuti is a community that worships the divine kala of dance together through pure meditation, training, practice, riyaaz and praising. The main aim of stuti is to impart knowledge and training in the field of kathak dance and motivate the students towards the right path of this art. Stuti promotes the Guru-Shishya Parampara in order to preserve the cultural heritage of the country.  

Stuti, for the last 25 years shows the path of happiness leading to the freedom of mind and soul. Dance is a powerful tool of self expression that boosts that helps us identify our true self by giving us joy, happiness and contentment. In stuti we inculcate the recognition of inner self among students. We foster a welcoming and inclusive community where every student feels valued and the passion for dance brings everyone together  and where age is no bar.  

Stuti, centre for performing arts is one of the leading institutes in west Bengal. The dancers of this institution has satisfied the audience in a number of occasions with their humble presentation of kathak dance not only in Kolkata but in different parts of india. Many students from this institute receive the national scholarship from department of culture, govt. of india. Stuti also receives the production grant from department of culture, govt. of india. We also provide recognized examinations and certificates in the field of kathak from pracheen kala kendra, chandigarh and Prayag sangeet samiti, Allahabad.
